My reason for saying be flexible is due to the fact we might need to change direction in business a lot of times. When it comes to business, some people like sticking to the old plan they've had, but sometimes there is need for change and you need to flexible to embrace changes easily. A good example is technology industry, changes occur on regular basis and if you don't follow the changes, you'll be lost.
Focus on your strength and opportunities
When you want to grow your business, you need to focus on areas you can perform best. The truth is you'll have different opportunities but go for the ones you can perform and outclass people. Every business that has grown has its strength and that's the area at which you should compete with others in business. That does not mean you should not focus on other things, but you should focus first on your strength.
Be consistent
Being consistent has it's part to play. When you are consistent, you build your credibility and your customers will have confidence in you. Being consistent will also help you get referrals from your existing customers and your business will keep growing that way. If you are not consistent at what you do, growth won't come. So, cultivate the art of being consistent, maintaining a good standard and growth will come.
Set goals
To grow your business, you also need to set goals. Write down the things you want to achieve, have a clear vision of what you want because that is what will really push you to achieve more.
